Winning Project Work Despite the Tender Process
The Narrabri Industrial Network are pleased to partner with the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources AusIndustry Entrepreneurs’ Programme to deliver the workshop, Winning Project work despite the Tender Process.
There is a significant pipeline of projects slated for Regional NSW including Inland rail, Santos Narrabri Project, mine expansions, and general infrastructure projects. While opportunity exists for local businesses; this can be limited by formal tender processes of large Principal Contractors. Local businesses have the technical capability to deliver; but may lack an ability to present their offerings in the correct way or to stand-out. This workshop aims to deliver the knowledge and the steps required for local companies to be well prepared and keep work local.
The objectives of this workshop are to:
– Give confidence to local SMEs to bid;
– Help to understand real tender needs;
– Provide a framework to meet compliance;
– Teach participants to present compelling value proposals;
– Present the value of “being local”;
– Help participants tailor offerings to leverage company strength;
– Guidance on how to transfer from Bid to project delivery.
This learning event will be delivered by Ross Carter, a Facilitator of the Entrepreneurs Programme with 25 years’ experience tendering to Mining Companies, and will discuss all aspects of the tendering process, including tools to assist in responding to opportunities, a gap analysis of your business and a plan to be “tender compliant”.
Attendees are encouraged to register for the event by Tuesday, 7th December 2021.
